Coterie Market + West Elm Holiday Pop Up Shop
We are lucky to be a part of a special group called Coterie Market. Coterie Market is a group of local makers and artisans who make products that range from soaps to chocolates. All of the businesses that sell products through Coterie Market are owned and operated in the Austin area. The definition of coterie is a small group of people with shared interests or tastes. Our coterie of like-minded people is dedicated to making it convenient to shop and buy high-quality local products. Chelsea Staires Sun founded Coterie Market to make it easier to buy locally in Austin and to unite area artisans who create high-quality locally-sourced products.
West Elm is a global brand that offers design services and products for the home. However, West Elm has not forgotten its roots or desire to foster community through offering a choice in products and collaborating with communities around the world. This store carries locally made and designed products to help people feel truly at home by connecting them with their local community. As part of this community initiative, West Elm is hosting a Coterie Market Holiday Pop Up shop this Saturday, December 6th from 11 AM to 4 PM.
This collaboration between West Elm and Coterie Market is a great way for both purveyors of fine goods to fulfill their missions of providing local products to the wider public.
In a holiday season filled with hurried shopping and mountains of presents, this is a great way to make an impact in your community by giving a local gift.
